Lawrence Chu

Lawrence is the Senior Advisor to Mythos Global. He is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and innovators building the future of finance, technology, and society.

He is also the Founder of BlackPine, a private investment firm backing breakthrough innovations across blockchain, AI, and the new economy. With over 20 years of global investment experience, Lawrence began his career at UBS and has been active in Web3 since 2015, as a Co-Founder of Kenetic and CEO of IDA, a leading blockchain infrastructure company based in Hong Kong.

He currently serves on the HKSAR Government’s Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development and is the Founding Vice-Chair of Web3 Harbour. Beyond the technology space, Lawrence is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and supports the arts through institutions including the Smart Museum in Chicago, Afield fellowships in Paris, and the Tate Asia Pacific Acquisitions Committee in London.
